Wow, time has flown by... Today was Keona's first day of Kindergarten!
Well, she's still in school NOW... but here are a few pictures of her while she was waiting for the bus.

A new study suggests that the most important factor in how much your kid gets out of preschool is the quality of her relationship with her teacher. Awwww. [Parenting, May 2010]

I wish they had cited which study this was from... but I agree. Keona loves her teacher and is excited for school. I do think teachers make the difference between success and failure. Just look at university classes - if I like the teacher, I will proactively seek them out during their office hours and send them emails. This results in better studying and better grades, right? So, if I do not like the teacher, why would I spend more time than I have to with them??
